Tanya Beth Bintrim and Christopher Donald Stahlman were married during a 5 p.m. ceremony on June 18, 2009, at the Oceancliff Hotel, Newport, R.I.
Officiating was the Rev. William H. Stone II of Neshannock Presbyterian Church of New Wilmington.
Parents of the bride are Scott and Amy Bintrim of 490 Nashua Road, Edinburg.
The groom is a son of Don and Linda Stahlman of 122 Greg Circle, Edinburg.
The bride wore a Casa-Blanca strapless gown with chapel train, accented with asymmetrical gathers on the bodice with bead work at dropped waist. A bird-cage veil completed her look.
Her classic clutch-style bouquet was lush with creamy white hydrangea, seasonal flowers and a touch of blue.
The couple’s vows included a unity sand ceremony, and a performance group provided violin and guitar music.
Matron of honor was Kristin McCann, sister of the bride of Rochester, N.Y.
Bridesmaids were Jennifer Grace of Pittsburgh, Chelsea Speigelhalder of West Chester, Pa., and Erin Metz-Barta of Greensburg.
Flower girl was Allyson Rynd of Sharpsville.
Best man was Philip McCann of Rochester, N.Y.
Groomsmen were Matt Reynolds of DuBois, Pa., Matt Daugherty of Virginia Beach, Va., and Benjamin Ratvasky of Edinburg.
A reception followed at the Oceancliff Hotel.
The couple were also feted June 27 at a second reception at the home of the bride’s parents.
After honeymooning at Mayan Riveria, Mexico, the newlyweds make their home in New Castle.
The bride is a graduate of Wilmington Area High School.
She holds her bachelor of science degree in psychology from Elizabethtown College and her master’s degree in counseling psychology from Chatham University. She is a team leader for NHS Human Services.
Her husband is an alumnus of Mohawk High School and holds his bachelor of science degree in secondary education from Youngstown State University. He is a substitute teacher for local school districts.
