NEW CASTLE —
Megan Elizabeth Kelley and John G. Colaiacovo were married July 6, 2013, in St. Vitus Catholic Church. The Rev. Frank Almade officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Lisa and Don Kelley of Coraopolis. She graduated from Montour High School and Robert Morris University. She is an administrative assistant at South Fayette Middle School.
Parents of the groom are Joyce and Harry Colaiacovo of 2451 Willowhurst Circle. He is a graduate of Shenango High School and Westminster College, and is an elementary teacher in the Moon Area School District.
The bride wore an ivory strapless organza ball grown with ruffle detail and a jeweled accent belt at the waist. She carried a rounded bouquet of all ivory roses with an ivory wrap around the step. Her late grandmother’s brooch and pearl buttons were designed into the handle.
Carissa Kelley of McDonald, Pa., the bride’s sister-in-law, was the matron of honor. Flower girls were Alora Kelley, the bride’s niece, of McDonald and Camryn Lanigan, the groom’s godchild, of New Castle. The bride’s nephew, Rowan Kelley of McDonald, was the ring bearer.
Shane Lanigan of New Castle served as best man. Ushers were Chad Christopher of New Castle, Jeff Ginocchi of Florida, Jason D’Alesia of Moon Township, David Varrati of New Castle, Robert Hanna of New Castle and William Platt of New Castle.
Katie Mazzei was the vocalist, accompanied by Sandy DeCarbo on the organ and Steven Vance on violin.
Aaron and Nicholas Viggiano, nephews of the groom, brought up the gifts at communion. Scriptural readings were done by Dr. Lynn Colaiacovo, sister of the groom; Rosemarie Perrotta, cousin and godmother of the groom; and Matthew Kelley, brother of the bride.
A reception took place at The Chadwick in Wexford. The rehearsal dinner was held at the New Castle Country Club.
Following a honeymoon at Sandals in the Bahamas resort, the couple make their home at 1101 Canterbury Drive, Imperial, Pa.
