Sarah Louise Togisala and Shaun Michael Elliott were married at an 11:30 a.m. service May 8, 2010, at Wallace Memorial Chapel of Westminster College. Officiating was the Rev. Dennis Bupp.
The bride is a daughter of Melissa Togisala of New Castle and the late Faofua Togisala.
The groom’s parents are Robert and Barbara Elliott of New Castle.
The bride wore a white Faille A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline, ruched bodice, and side draping with a chapel-length train.
She carried red roses with stephanotis and crystal accents.
Matrons of honor were Amy Hilton of New Castle and Christina Estrada of Colorado.
Bridesmaids were Thea Vitale, sister of the bride, of New Castle, and Faofua Selia Togisala, bride’s sister of Ohio.
Flower girl was Maura Hilton of New Castle.
Ring bearer was Alejandro Gonzalez of Colorado.
Best man was Bob Elliott, brother of the groom, of New Castle.
Groomsmen were Robert Hilton of New Castle, Patrick Mitcheltree of New Castle and Randy Rogan of New Castle.
The reception took place at Bessemer Croatian Club.
After honeymooning in Ocean City, Md., the newlyweds make their home in New Castle.
The bride is a graduate of New Castle High School and attended Slippery Rock University.
She is an income maintenance caseworker for the Department of Welfare.
Her husband is a graduate of Shenango High School. He is a sales representative.
