Ashley Marie Moore and Jim Andrew Darabant

NEW CASTLE — Ashley Marie Moore and Jim Andrew Darabant were married at 11 a.m. June 29, 2013, at McDanel’s Launch at Moraine State Park. The Rev. Rodney McCracken officiated.

Parents of the bride are Cindy and Dennis Moore of New Castle.

Parents of the groom are Frank and Rhonda Darabant of Portersville.

The bride wore a sleeveless chiffon A-line silhouette gown with gathered shoulder straps sweeping to a V at the back and an attached cathedral train.

Her bouquet contained white and yellow daisies.

Maid of honor was Angela Hemphill of Butler.

Bridesmaids were Elizabeth Lennox of Pittsburgh, Kirsten Book of Pittsburgh and Victoria Kamicker-Beppler of Waynesburg.

Flower girl was Elizabeth Peters of New Castle.

Ring bearer was Noah Peters of New Castle.

Serving as best man was Eric Windisch of Butler.

Groomsman were Malikye Naser, the groom’s son, of Butler, Andrew Flemm, the groom’s cousin of Pittsburgh and Rodney McCracken of Slippery Rock.

Vocalist was Carol Turnage who was accompanied by Amanda Jackson and Aaron Blackhem.

The reception was held at The Villa.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Las Vegas and at the Grand Canyon.

The bride is a 2007 graduate of Mohawk High School and 2011 graduate of Slippery Rock University.

She is a student at Butler County Community College.

Her husband is a 1999 graduate of Slippery Rock High School and 2004 graduate of Slippery Rock University.

He  is a personal health advocate for Cigna Health Insurance.

The newlyweds make their home in Butler.
