NEW CASTLE —
Rachel Ann Mitrea and David Lee Fobes were married at a 1 p.m. ceremony July 30, 2011, at Birchman Baptist Church, Fort Worth, Texas. Pastor Scott Colter officiated.
Parents of the bride are Robin Mitrea of Ocean City, Md., and Jerry Mitrea of Fort Worth, Texas.
The groom is a son of Jack and Lynn Fobes of 287 Blews Way.
The bride wore a white strapless satin gown with fingertip veil.
The flowers consisted of pink, yellow and orange gerber daisies and white roses.
Maid of honor was Hannah Mitrea, sister of the bride, of Fort Worth, Texas.
Bridesmaid was Sara Fobes, sister of the groom, of New Castle.
Best man was Josh Patterson of New Castle.
Serving as groomsman was Randal Reader of Fort Worth, Texas.
The occasion was made more special because the groom’s grandmother, Bobbie Freid was in attendance.
Music was provided by Caroline Martin, a friend of the bride.
A cake and punch reception followed at the church.
After a honeymoon trip to Las Vegas, the newlyweds make their home in Fort Worth, Texas.
The bride is a graduate of New Castle High School and Grove City College.
She is a high school math teacher in Fort Worth.
The groom is an alumnus of Neshannock High School and attends University of Phoenix.
He works for Best Buy.
