NEW CASTLE —
Deanna Lynn McNicholas and Michael Scott Moore were married at 2:30 p.m. Oct. 27, 2012, at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. The Rev. Stephen Miller officiated.
Parents of the bride are David Jr. and Vickie McNicholas of New Castle.
Parents of the groom are Thomas and Carla Moore of Edinburg.
The flower girl was pulled down the aisle by the ring bearer in a white wagon decorated with tulle, ribbon and a sign that read, “last chance to run.”
The bride wore a white, one-piece corset strapless, slim A-line gown with a sweetheart neckline accented with tulle. The lace overlay was ornamented with Swarovski crystals, glass beads, bugle beads and a sweep train.
Her spherical bouquet contained yellow calla lilies, white roses, red roses, orange roses and green hypericum berries. The flower stems were wrapped in white satin ribbon.
Matron of honor was Shanna McNicholas, the bride’s sister-in-law, of New Castle.
Bridesmaids were Trista Hinkle of New Castle, Jennifer Colamarino, the bride’s cousin, of Cranberry Township, Courtney Dean, the bride’s cousin, of Edinburg, Megan Pollum of Portersville, Christie Mitchell of Edinburg, Ashley Beltz, the bride’s cousin, of New Castle and Heather McQuiston, the bride’s cousin, of Ellwood City.
Flower girl was Fallon Rose Mitchell of Edinburg.
Ring bearer was Austin Hinkle of New Castle.
Serving as the best men were Josh Peterson of Edinburg and Todd Campbell of Hubbard, Ohio. Groomsmen were Cory McClenahan of Edinburg, Terry Johnson of Edinburg, David McNicholas III, the bride’s brother, of New Castle, Chris Presnar of New Castle, Anthony Bukta of Chicago and Travis Knight of Edinburg.
Musician was Mark Walzer.
The reception was held at The Alpine Room, SNPJ.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of Laurel High School and earned her bachelor of science in nursing from Youngstown State University in 2008. She is a registered nurse in the labor and delivery unit at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Her husband graduated from Mohawk High School in 2001. He is a foreman with Lindy Paving.
The newlyweds make their home at 694 Fording Road.
