Ilia Liskooka and Aaron Joseph Bernstine were married at 1 p.m. Aug. 18, 2012, at Mary, Mother of Hope Parish. The Rev. William P. Siple officiated.
Parents of the bride are George and Marie Liskooka of 1408 Sunny Ave.
Parents of the groom are Sam and Pam Bernstine of 186 McGuffey Blvd.
The bride wore a white strapless gown embellished with lace flower appliqués and beading on the pleated taffeta bodice and netted skirt. A scalloped-edge veil was accented with embroidery and beading.
Her clutch sphere bouquet container lavender roses, white Gerbera daisies, blue delphinium, purple alstroemeria and larkspur, and stalk accent with stephanotis and waxflowers.
Kathy Mansell was vocalist and pianist.
Matron of honor was Janiel Henley, the bride’s cousin, of Edinburg.
Bridesmaids were Laura Hankey of San Diego, Stephanie Fortney of Edinburg, Audrey Wickens of Belmont, Ohio, Alissa Meehan of Erie and Sarah Mobley of Hershey.
Flower girl was Karina Liskooka, the bride’s sister, of New Castle.
Ring bearer was Elliot Liskooka, the bride’s brother, of New Castle.
Serving as best man was Kris Kull of Columbus, Ohio.
Groomsmen were Dave Smialowski of New Castle, Dale Turner of New Castle, Zach Van Buren of Columbia, S.C., Derrick Haines of Akron, Craig Borden of North Lima, Ohio and Ross Liskooka, the bride’s brother, of New Castle.
The reception was held at The White Barn, Prospect.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Gatlinburg, Tenn.
The bride is a graduate of Union High School and Penn State University. She is a nuclear engineer at Westinghouse.
Her husband is a graduate of Union High School and Penn State University. He is director of business development at i9 Advantage.
The newlyweds make their home in Mars.
