NEW CASTLE —
Kaitlin Mae Harlan and Joseph Younkin Simonette were married at 1:30 p.m. July 21, 2012, at Four Mile Church in Beaver. Pastor Darren Bowers officiated.
Parents of the bride are Scott and Brenda Harlan of New Castle.
Parents of the groom are Joseph Simonette of Pittsburgh and Heather Muhl of Parker, Pa.
The bride wore a white gown with taffeta, netting, re-embroidered lace, a soft sweetheart neckline, beaded empire waist in front and full flared ruffled skirt with a semi-cathedral train.
Her bouquet contained clutches of white hydrangea, roses, calla lilies and stephanotis with rhinestone centers.
Matron of honor was Amanda Harlan, the bride’s sister, of New Castle.
Bridesmaids were Kylee Horvath of New Castle, Jaclyn Colquhoun of Hermitage, Lindsey Nicklas of Transfer, Rachel Ferro of Uniontown and Abigail Muhl, the groom’s sister, of Parker.
Flower girls were Tory Druschel, the bride’s cousin, of East Liverpool, Ohio and Ameira Myers, the groom’s niece, of Pittsburgh.
Ring bearers were Mike Druschel, the bride’s cousin, of East Liverpool and Logan Gudyk, the bride’s cousin, of New Castle.
Serving as best man was Alex Finch of Monroeville.
Groomsmen were Zach Muhl, the groom’s brother, of Parker, Ryan Muhl, the groom’s brother, of Parker, Jarod Mills of New Castle, Santino Simonette, the groom’s brother, of Pittsburgh and Jason Harlan, the bride’s brother, of Portersville.
The reception was held at The Fez Banquet Center in Aliquippa.
The couple spent their honeymoon in Asheville, N.C.
The bride was homeschooled. She graduated from Waynesburg University and is pursuing a master’s of art degree from Geneva College in marriage and family counseling.
Her husband graduated from AC Valley High School and Geneva College. He is director of children’s ministry at Four Mile Church in Beaver.
The newlyweds make their home in Beaver Falls.
