NEW CASTLE —
Debbie Didiano and Gregory Gargasz were married at 4:30 p.m. Oct. 6, 2012, by District Judge David B. Rishel.
The couple shared their own vows during an outdoor ceremony at their New Castle home. At the end of the ceremony, the bride and groom exchanged single roses as a gift to each other to symbolize the beginning of their journey as husband and wife.
Parents of the bride are Herbert and Gladys Brest of New Castle.
Parents of the groom are the late Walter and Bernice Gargasz.
The bride wore a knee-length soft white A-line taffeta dress with a sweetheart neckline that was beaded with pearls.
Her bouquet was a raffia-wrapped clutch with sunflowers, orange gerbera daisies with dark centers, yellow lilies, orange roses, seeded eucalyptus and bear grass.
Matron of honor was Tammee Shaftic, the bride’s sister, of New Castle.
Serving as best man was Larry Beach Sr., the groom’s brother-in-law, of New Castle.
Music for the ceremony and reception was provided by John Cimperman.
The reception was held at the couple’s home. The groom displayed a 30-minute fireworks show for the wedding guests at dusk.
The couple will spend their honeymoon in Hawaii.
The bride is a graduate of Shenango High School. She is an administrative assistant for Lawrence County ARC.
Her husband graduated from Union High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in criminology. He is a retired Pennsylvania state police trooper.
The newlyweds make their home in New Castle.
