Barbara Spayde Altman and Edward J. Kelley Jr.

Barbara Spayde Altman and Edward J. Kelley Jr. were married at 1 p.m. Dec. 10, 2011, in Mary, Mother of Hope Parish by the Rev. Victor Molka Jr. He was assisted by the bride’s brother, the Rev. Ronald Spayde of Walworth, N.Y.

Parents of the bride are Eleanor Spayde of New Castle and the late Henry Spayde.

Parents of the groom are Genevie Kelley of New Castle and the late Edward J. Kelley Sr.

The bride wore a bright purple mid-length dress enhanced by glittered panels.

Her bouquet contained pink and white roses with purple accents and Christmas greenery.

Matron of honor was Louise DeLuca of New Castle.

Serving as best man was John Wyza, the groom’s brother-in-law, of New Wilmington.

Groomsman was Jimmy Heasley, the groom’s nephew, of New Castle.

James Hackett served as organist.

The reception was at Gallo’s Italian Villa.

The couple plans a Colorado honeymoon in the spring.

Both the bride and groom are retired.

The newlyweds make their home at 120 E. Fairfield Ave.
