Kristin Nicole Letera and Ryan Jonathan Saari were married at a 2:30 p.m. ceremony June 6, 2009, at St. Joseph the Worker Church. Officiating was the Rev. Robert Schweitzer.
Parents of the couple are William Alan and Pamela Ann Letera of 734 Addis St., and Jon Kent and Geraldine Saari of Wheeling, W.Va.
The bride wore a white, chapel-length gown with gathered bodice adorned with intricate crystal and silver beading, under the bodice, down the back of the dress and covering the train.
Her hand-tied bouquet of all white roses also contained stephanotis and lilies with pearl accents, and silk ribbon wrapped stems.
Matron of honor was Joanna Dinqer of Pittsburgh.
Maid of honor was Michelle Howley of Chesapeake, Va.
Bridesmaids were Melissa Letera of New Castle, Amber Thompson of Mercer and Crista Wilson of Erie.
Flower girl was Lyndsay Reynolds.
Ring bearer was Cody Rice of Martins Ferry, Ohio.
Best man was Jonathan Kurtz of Pittsburgh.
Ushers were Michael Gompers of Philadelphia, Dustin Bowman of Wheeling, W.Va., Jonathan Cholak of Pittsburgh and Trevor Hopwood of Lee, N.H.
Ceremony vocalist was Deborah Thomas.
Accompanist was Mary Lou Pruchnic.
The reception took place at the New Englander.
After honeymooning in Key West, the newlyweds make their home in Wexford.
The bride is a graduate of New Castle High School. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Edinboro University and her graduate in school counseling from Chatham University.
She is a clinical therapist at People In Need of New Castle.
Her husband is an alumnus of Linsly School and is also a graduate of West Liberty State College, having received a bachelor’s degree in business administration.
He is a financial analyst at Birchmere Ventures in Pittsburgh.
