NEW CASTLE — Kaetlyn Nikole Blair and Karl William Hermann were married at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 3, 2013, at First Alliance Church. The Rev. Phillip Harrison officiated.

Parents of the bride are Brian Blair of Wampum and Penny Blair of New Castle.

Parents of the groom are Karl and Debra Hermann of 1650 Union Valley Road.

The bride wore an off-shoulder Casablanca gown with floral patterned lace overlay and beading. The chapel train had a sheer, lace back panel.

Her bouquet contained a collection of colorful Gerbera daisies with pearl pins.

Music was by Pure Harmony Strings with Stephanie Franzen on violin and Tracy Hefner on cello.

Maid of honor was Kimber Blair, the bride’s sister, of New Castle.

Bridesmaids were Amanda Hermann, sister-in-law, of Wampum, Rachel Kwiatkowski of Phoenix, Mackenzie Brady of Beaver Falls and Courtney Battles of Wampum.

Flower girl was Lily Proctor of New Castle.

Serving as best man was Alan Hermann, the groom’s brother, of Wampum.

Groomsmen were Cody Blair, the bride’s brother, of New Castle, Todd Scodova of Phoenix, Christopher Heasley of Oil City and Evan Krizon of Franklin.

The reception was held at Mary, Mother of Hope Parish Center.

The couple spent their honeymoon in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.

The bride is a graduate of Laurel High School and Geneva College. She is an English teacher.

Her husband graduated from Shenango High School and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

He is a pharmacist and pharmacy manager.

The newlyweds make their home in Madison, Ala.
