Kaycee Lane McCormick and Timothy Patrick Aubel

NEW CASTLE — Kaycee Lane McCormick and Timothy Patrick Aubel were married at a 4 p.m. ceremony March 13, 2010, taking place in the lobby at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. Officiating was Pastor John Yergan of First Baptist Church, New Castle.

Parents of the couple are Rodney and Kimberly McCormick of New Castle and John and Heidi Aubel of  Mt. Pleasant.

The bride wore a corseted, full ball gown with entirely beaded bodice by Casablanca. A crystal tiara and veil completed her look.

She carried a full bridal cascade of white silk roses, white ostrich feathers, and crystal floral jewelry throughout.

Maids of honor were Nicolette McCormick, bride’s sister, of New Castle and Katie Herman of Indiana, Pa.

Bridesmaids were Season Nogay of New Castle and Holly Morgan, groom’s sister, of Mt. Pleasant.

Flower girls were Haley Morgan of Mt. Pleasant and Laini Venasco of New Castle.

Best man was Ron Moore of Harrisburg.

Groomsmen were Matthew Lesko of Mt. Pleasant, Shaun Becker of Sacramento, Calif., and Travis Bittner of North Huntingdon, Pa.

The bridal party entered the ceremony to “Bittersweet Symphony” by The Verve, and the bride entered to “God Bless the Broken Road” by Rascal Flatts.

The reception followed at 6 p.m. in the ballroom at the Radisson Hotel Sharon.

Honeymoon plans were not disclosed.

The bride is a graduate of Laurel High School and Slippery Rock University. She teaches art at New Castle High School.

Her husband is an alumnus of Mt. Pleasant High School and also holds his degree from Slippery Rock University. He is a project manager.

The newlyweds make their home in Butler.
