NEW CASTLE —
Daniel Monaco and Sondra Miscevich were married at 4:30 p.m. Sept. 1, 2013, in the Sopris Garden, Denver City Park, Denver, Colo. Brian McQuade of Breckenridge, Colo. A friend of the bride and groom officiated.
Parents of the groom are Dan and Karen Monaco of 2116 Old State Road.
Parents of the bride are Dennis Miscevich of Stilwell, Kan. and Shirley Allen Miscevich of Merriam, Kan.
The bride wore a strapless white linen gown accented with leaf lace and a plum-colored sash.
The bouquets were hand made by the bride and her sister and consisted of fresh succulents and dried flowers of off white and plum.
Maid of honor was Haley Miscevich, the bride’s twin, of Kansas.
Bridesmaids were Sarah Aylward of Chicago and Natalie Scott of Kansas.
Groomsmen were Christian Ball of Boulder, Colo., Ryan Gaul of Laguna Beach, Calif. and Dan Schmidt of Golden, Colo.
Ushers were Paul Foltz, the bride’s cousin, of Kansas and Dave Heaberlin, the groom’s brother-in-law, of New Castle.
The reception was in the Denver City Park Pavilion.
The couple plans a honeymoon to the Pacific Northwest early next year.
The groom is a graduate of Laurel High School and attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He is a service manager with Adrenelin Cycles, Highlands Ranch, Colo.
The bride is a graduate of Shawnee Mission North High School, Merriam, and the University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kan. She is an accountant with Restaurant Solutions in Littleton, Col.
The newlyweds make their home in Englewood, Colo.
