Jennifer Lee Cimperman and Brian Andrew Cox

NEW CASTLE — Jennifer Lee Cimperman and Brian Andrew Cox were married July 22, 2013, in an oceanside ceremony on The Outer Banks of North Carolina. The Rev. Tanya K. Young officiated.

The bride is a daughter of Romli Cimperman of New Castle and the late Martin Cimperman, and Cindy and Wayne Sager of New Castle.

The groom’s parents are Karen and Richard Cox of New Castle.

The bride wore a strapless A-line chiffon gown, featuring a ruched bodice over an empire waist accented with hand-beaded lace that continued to the back of the gown, with beaded lace detail from waist to hem.

She carried a nosegay of white and green assorted flowers wrapped with ribbon to match the bridesmaids’ dresses. Incorporated into the bride’s bouquet were her late father’s wedding band, fishing lure and photo.

A sea shell blessing followed the ceremony. Each of the more than 50 guests lined up at the water’s edge, made a wish for the bride and groom and, on the count of three, threw their shells into the ocean.

Roma Cimperman, the bride’s sister, of New Castle was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lacey Koscinski and Elyse Tomsky, both of New Castle.

Louna, the bride and groom’s dog, was the flower girl.

Jared Cox of Pittsburgh served his brother as best man. Eric Hassen, cousin of the groom, of Ellwood City and Martin Cimperman, brother of the bride, of New Castle were ushers.

A reception followed the ceremony at the Tale of the Whale restaurant in the Outer Banks. A small reception for friends and family took place in August at the Moose Lodge in New Castle.

The bride is a graduate of New Castle High School and Youngstown State University. She is a customer financial services representative with Verizon Wireless.

The groom is a Shenango High School graduate.

The couple make their home in Wilmington, N.C.
