NEW CASTLE —
Lara Emily Billyk and Joshua Robert Blaine were married at 5:30 p.m. July 20, 2013. The outdoor ceremony took place at The Barn and Gazebo in Salem, Ohio. The Rev. William Grubbs officiated.
Parents of the bride are Larry and Christine Billyk of New Castle.
Parents of the groom are Robert and Mary Blaine of Hanoverton, Ohio.
The bride wore an ivory lace A-line ball gown with a strapless bodice and sweetheart neckline, ruched waistband accented with a bead and pearl appliqué and fingertip-length veil.
Her bouquet contained baby’s breath with a burlap and lace wrap around the stems.
Matron of honor was Leslie Cubellis of Belle Vernon, Pa.
Maid of honor was Kellyn Rielly, the bride’s cousin of York, Pa.
Bridesmaids were Jami Oyer of Paris, Ohio, Monica Schafer of Ambridge, Megan Rielly, the bride’s cousin, of Mars, Pa. and Stephanie Mojock of New Castle.
Flower girl was Maci Blaine, the groom’s niece, of Beloit, Ohio.
Junior groomsmen were Jacob Billyk Jr. and Jackson Billyk, the bride’s nephews, of New Castle.
Serving as best man was Brett Oyer of Kensington, Ohio.
Groomsmen were Kyle Blaine, the groom’s brother, of Beloit, Allen Billyk, the bride’s brother, of Crozet, Va., Ryan Little of Kensington, Scott Kibler of Kensington and Dave Martin of Kensington.
Harpist was Nancy Paterson.
The reception was held at The Barn and Gazebo in Salem.
The bride is a graduate of New Castle High School and Penn State University. She is employed at Treloar and Heisel, Inc.
Her husband is a graduate of United Local High School. He works at PSK Steel in Hubbard.
The newlyweds make their home in Salem, Ohio.
