— Amy Sue Balderach and Ryan Lee Chill were married at 3:30 p.m. Sept. 3, 2011, in Trinity Episcopal Church in New Castle.

The Rev. Canon Dennis Blauser officiated. Debra Johnson provided the organ music.

The bride is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ronald Balderach.

The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Chill.

The new Mrs. Chill was attended by bridesmaids in flowing navy gowns. Lori Balderach Pino, Mindy Balderach Deal, Marie Meyers Greene and Lacey Perretta carried orange bouquets arranged by Tom Penwell.

Brooke Chill, the groom’s daughter, was the maid of honor and carried a similar arrangement.

Alexa Pino, the bride’s niece, was the flower girl.

Groomsmen included Zach Werther, Nick Funera, Bob Chill and Ron Balderach Jr. Steven Chill, the groom’s brother, was the best man. Ringerbearers were Jacob and Andrew Pino and Dillan and Adam Deal, all nephews of the bride.

A reception took place following the ceremony at The Villa, where orange voodoo roses decorated the tables and 250 guests dined on Italian fare and danced to music provided by DJ Rock. Favors included snapshots from a photo booth and homemade cookies.

The groom is a graduate of Lawrence County Career and Technical Center. He holds a degree in electrical utility technology from Youngstown State University. He is employed as a lineman for Penn Power in Grove City.

The bride graduated from Neshannock High School and Westminster College. She holds master’s degrees from Baylor and Rice universities. She is employed by USIS in Boyers.

Mrs. Chill formerly worked as a cashier at Giant Eagle in Neshannock Township. Her groom had been her seventh-grade crush, but she had not seen him for 15 years until encountering him one day at the checkout in the supermarket. They were married one year later.

The couple live in New Castle and are remodeling their home in lieu of an immediate honeymoon. They are planning a future trip to a tropical destination.
