NEW CASTLE —
Ashley Marie Danko and Peter Christopher Malko Pavone were married at 3 p.m. Oct. 6, 2012, at St. James the Apostle Parish. The Rev. James Downs officiated.
Parents of the bride and Douglas and Barbara Danko of 134 Leeper Drive.
Parents of the groom are H. Christopher and Anna Marie Pavone of Pittsburgh.
The bride wore a Casablanca ivory strapless satin gown accented on the front and back with Swarovski crystal and pearl beaded appliqués. Her cathedral length veil was also edged in Swarovski crystals.
She wore pearl and diamond earrings, and a pearl bracelet that was a gift from the groom.
Her bouquet contained white roses embellished with pearls and hand wrapped in material from her mother’s wedding gown.
Vocalist and accompanist was Tom Franzak.
The reception was held at the New Castle Country Club.
The couple spent their honeymoon in northern California.
Matron of honor was Andrea Wagner, the bride’s sister, of Rock Hill, S.C.
Bridesmaids were Katie Micco of Pittsburgh and Liz Pavone, the groom’s sister, of Pittsburgh.
Ring bearers were Landon Wagner, the bride’s nephew, of Rock Hill and Dale D. McFeatters, the bride’s nephew, of Charlottesville, Va.
Serving as best man was James Dunstan of Pittsburgh.
Groomsmen were Nathan Jones of Ruffs Dale, Pa., and Stephen Pavone, the groom’s brother, of Pittsburgh.
The bride is a graduate of Mohawk High School and the University of Pittsburgh. She is a treatment development analyst at PNC.
Her husband is a graduate of Franklin Regional High School and Washington and Jefferson College. He is a marketing trials coordinator for Philips Respironics.
The newlyweds make their home in Verona, Pa.
