Patricia Ann Murray and Thomas William Ewing Jr.

Patricia Ann Murray and Thomas William Ewing Jr. were married at a 3 p.m. ceremony June 20, 2009, at Harmony Zelienople United Methodist Church, Zelienople. Officiating was Pastor John Jefferis.

The bride is a daughter of Patricia Evelyn Murray of Harlansburg Road.

Parents of the groom are Louise and Thomas Ewing of Cranberry Township.

The bride was escorted down the aisle by her brother, Ken Murray. The royal blue aisle runner was embellished with the couple’s monogram, designed by the bride, who is an artist.

She wore a strapless, taffeta gown in ivory, with crystal beading on the bodice and along the hem of the chapel length train.

Her romantic bouquet consisted of blue hydrangeas, cornflower, delphiniums and roses, tied with ivory ribbon.

The bride’s matron honor was Shanna Sallmen of New Castle.

Bridesmaids were Laura Dadejko of New Castle, Angel Noble of Kyle, Texas; Laurie Emery and Theresa Emery, both of New Castle, and Beth LaGamba of Cranberry Township.

Flower girl was Mikyla Slater of New Castle.

The ring bearer was the bride’s dog, Arturo, who wore a tiny tuxedo for the event.

Best man was Michael Ewing, brother of the groom, of Philadelphia.

Groomsmen were Matt Jones of Shippensburg; Scott Stewart, Eric Cupp and Michael LaGamba, all of Cranberry Township, and Paul Emery of New Castle.

Vocalists were Beth LaGamba and Ken Hill.

The reception took place at The Alpine Room at SNPJ.

After honeymooning to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, the newlyweds make their home in Zelienople.

The bride is a graduate of Laurel High School and Slippery Rock University. She is an elementary art teacher in the Mars Area School District.

Her husband is a graduate of Seneca Valley High School and Penn State University. He is an elementary math teacher in the Northgate School District.
