NEW CASTLE —
Ashlyn Marie Moyer and Chet Andrew Brown were married during a 5:30 p.m. private ceremony Sept. 10, 2011, on Po’olenalena Beach, Maui, Hawaii. Adam Gomes officiated at the ceremony which took place at sunset.
Parents of the bride are William D. and Lisa A. Jones and James and Liz Moyer, all of New Castle.
The groom is a son of Patricia S. Brown of New Castle and the late Thomas W. Brown.
The bride wore a custom Casablanca gown with beaded lace appliqué accented with Swarovski crystals on Point D’Esprit over luxe satin. The fit and flare silhouette featured a strapless sweetheart neckline.
Her bouquet was a colorful mix of Hawaiian flowers.
The honeymoon was also spent on Maui at the Hyatt Regency Resort & Spa.
A casual reception took place Sept. 18 at the Cascade Park dance pavilion upon the couples’ return from Hawaii.
Both bride and groom are graduates of Laurel High School.
The bride is program analyst/COTR at U.S. Office of Personnel Management.
Her husband received a bachelor of science in civil and construction engineering technology from Youngstown State University.
He owns Brown’s Lawnscape & More, LLC.
The newlyweds make their home in New Castle.
