Heather Sue Jones and Joshua Blaine Rogers were married at a 10 a.m. ceremony on Oct. 20, 2007, at the Safety Harbor Spa & Resort in Safety Harbor, Fla.
The bride is a former resident of New Castle. Her parents are Ronald W. and Renee Jones of Safety Harbor.
Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Rogers of Iowa and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Walberg of Florida.
The wedding took place outdoors overlooking Tampa Bay. Officiating were Cathy Gayon and Carly Ross.
The ceremony was followed immediately with a brunch at the resort.
A formal reception was held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Nov. 3 at Westminster College McKelvey Center’s Witherspoon Room. AMS Entertainment provided music.
Weingartner Florist provided flowers for the reception and Colonial Florist provided flowers for the wedding.
Matron of honor was Dr. Brittany Goss, bride’s sister, of St. Petersburg, Fla.
The groom’s daughters, Shannon Merkel and Kara Rogers, were bridesmaids and his daughter Kacee Rogers was the flower girl. They are from Orlando, Fla.
The miniature bride was Emma Dobson of New Castle and ring bearer was Dominic Goss of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Best man was Tyler Freedman of St. Petersburg.
The couple make their home at 8600 29th Way Apt 207, Pinellas Park, Fla.
The bride is a graduate of Neshannock High School. She holds a bachelor of arts degree from Westminster College and master of arts degree from the University of Texas. She is a marketing specialist for Send Tec Corporation.
Her husband graduated from Liberty High School in Bethlehem, Pa. He is a MHT at Windmoor Health Care.
