Leigh Ann Ryan and Sean Michael DeCristoforo were married at a 1:30 p.m. ceremony on Oct. 6, 2007, at St. Vitus Parish. Officiating was the Rev. Robert Zajdel.
Parents of the bride are Freddie and Margie Ryan of 1002 Maryland Ave.
The groom is a son of Joe and Phyllis DeCristoforo of 428 E. Edgewood Ave.
The bride’s Demetrios satin strapless ball gown featured beaded embroidery across the entire dress and attached train. Her veil border was embellished with crystals with diamond headband headpiece.
Satin ribbon laced up her freestyle bouquet of dark pink roses, light pink miniature roses, gardenias, dendrobium orchids, stephanotis and lavender wax flowers.
Matrons of honor were Bobbie Lynn Girman and Michelle Ryan, both of New Castle.
There were 18 bridesmaids: Natalie Passerrello, Nicole Joseph of New Castle; Laura DeCristoforo of Cranberry; Melinda Moore, Stacie DeCristoforo, Heather Campoli, Karmin Schaffner, Amanda Baxter, Stephanie Reynolds and Jami Kessler, all of New Castle; Trishia Flack of Brookville, Pa., Kelly Hamett, Alison Cubellis, Dana Joseph, Erica Rupert, Brittany Natale, all of New Castle; and Victoria DeCristoforo and Cassie DeCristoforo of Cranberry.
Flower girl was Taylor Anderson of New Castle.
Ring bearer was Anthony Ryan of New Castle.
Best man duties were shared by Ricky Panella and Chris Micco, both of New Castle.
Groomsmen included Mark Ryan and Richie Ryan, bride’s brothers, of New Castle; and groom’s brothers — Joe DeCristoforo and Mike DeCristoforo of Cranberry and Vic DeCristoforo of New Castle.
The rest of the groomsmen were Jason Girman, Chuck Dando, Mark Ridgley, all of New Castle, Andy Young of Tampa, Fla., Mike Kessler, Steve Shansky, Marc Lockhart, Dave Rapko, all of New Castle, Ben Chiarini and George Stevens, both of Pittsburgh, Sean Centifanti of Plantation, Fla., Michael Natale and Jeff Shansky, both of New Castle.
Miniature groomsmen were Nico and Dante DeCristoforo.
Vocalists were Kristina Reeher and Taylor Ryan.
Organist was Sandy DeCarbo and trumpeter was John Onufrak.
The reception was at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman.
For a honeymoon, the couple spent eight days at Sandal’s Resort in Nassau, Bahamas.
They make their home at 2110 Marion Ave.
The New Castle High School alumni are also graduates of Slippery Rock University.
The bride graduated with dual certification in elementary and special education. She is a special education teacher at New Castle Junior Senior High School.
Her husband holds a bachelor’s degree in safety and environmental health.
He works as safety, environmental specialist at General Electric in Warren, Ohio.
