Emily Christine Kelly and Anthony John “AJ” Richard Orelli
Emily Christine Kelly and Anthony John “AJ” Richard Orelli were married at a 2:30 p.m. ceremony July 18, 2009, at New Life Baptist Church, New Wilmington. Officiating was Pastor Ron Nagel.
Parents of the bride are Tom and Karen Kelly of 3621 Old State Road.
The groom is a son of Anthony and Cindy Orelli of 753 Brownhome Road.
The bride wore an ivory and silver gown. Crystal beads edged the strapless draped bodice with corset-tied back. The asymmetrical waistline met the cascading flounce on the floor-length skirt.
She carried light pink and ivory roses with baby’s breath.
Matron of honor was the bride’s sister, Cindy Fogelsanger of Lebanon, Pa.
Bridesmaids were Christy Blackburn of Alexandria, Va., and Natalie Orelli, sister of the groom, of New Castle.
Flower girl was Makenna Emerick of New Castle.
Best man was Luke Nagel of DuBois.
Ushers were Mark Orelli, brother of the groom of New Castle and Rocky Peterson of Prospect.
Vocalist was Joni McFarland and the accompanist was Mary Correia.
The reception took place at the University Union MPR at Slippery Rock University.
After honeymooning in Riviera Maya, Mexico, the newlyweds make their home in New Castle.
The bride graduated from Shenango High School in 2000. She attended Messiah College graduating in 2004 with degree in exercise science. She is attending Slippery Rock University studying health and physical education.
Her husband graduated in 2003 from Laurel High School and attended Stark State University. He is an electrical mechanic for FirstEnergy Corp.
