Amber Jo Lutz and Matthew Clark Minto were married at a 3:30 p.m. ceremony June 21, 2008, at First Baptist Church of New Castle. The Rev. Mike Wells officiated.
Parents of the bride are Joseph and Julie Lutz of 14 Fairground Road.
The groom’s parents are Martin and Renee Minto of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
The bride wore an Alfred Angelo, A-line white gown, with dusty rose accents on the semi-cathedral train.
She carried a mix of pink and white lilies.
Unique to the ceremony were the glass kneeler and pedestals which were made by the bride’s father.
There were two maids of honor, Ashley Gould of Slippery Rock and Laura Book of New Castle.
Bridesmaids were Jenny Bolinger of New Castle, Jackie Haggerty of New Castle, Michelle Minto, groom’s sister, of Myrtle Beach and Nicole Kosior of Ellwood City.
Flower girl was Jenna Barth.
Ring bearers were Daniel Regnier Minto, groom’s brother, and Cameron Bolinger.
Best man duties were shared by Justin George and Kyle Piper, both of New Castle.
Groomsmen were Mark Bolinger of New Castle, Michael Minto and Mitchell Minto, brothers of the groom, of Myrtle Beach, and Austin Lutz, bride’s brother, of New Castle.
Ceremony soloists were Luanne Goodrich and Pastor Scott Frederick.
Goodrich was also the accompanist.
The reception followed at The New Englander.
After honeymooning to Disney World in Orlando, Fla., the newlyweds make their home at 1975 Mercer New Wilmington Road, New Wilmington.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Laurel High School who will graduate in December 2008 from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania.
Her husband is a graduate of the Western Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School and is also a student at SRU. He will graduate in May 2009.
