Jennifer Marie Piscitella and Kurtis Albert Presnar were married at a 1 p.m. ceremony April 25, 2009, at St. Mary Church of the Mary, Mother of Hope Parish. Officiating was the Rev. Victor J. Molka.
Parents of the couple are Patsy and Joye Piscitella of 106 Pitts Point and Albert and Susan Presnar of 2541 Willowhurst Circle.
The bride wore a strapless ivory gown with champagne satin trim and crystal beading over the bodice and hem. It featured a full train with satin buttons and trim.
She carried a bouquet of white lilies, roses and stephanotis.
Maid of honor was Casey Lee Vargo of Pittsburgh.
Bridesmaids were Cheruba Abraham of Hershey, Lisa Schoch of Columbia, S.C., Emilie Sommer of Pittsburgh, Ashley Babick of Ellwood City, and Krysti Monaco of Florida.
Flower girl was Gianna Musolino of New Castle.
Ring bearer was Brendan Latsko of Beaver Falls.
Best man was Robert Flamino of New Castle.
Ushers were Jason Durst of Enon Valley, Tony Pica of New Castle, John Montgomery of New Castle, Bob Babick of Ellwood City, and P.J. Piscitella, bride’s brother, of Youngstown.
Kris Harper was vocalist and organist.
Trumpeters were Chris Masi and John Onufrak.
The reception was at The Alpine Room at SNPJ.
After honeymooning in Antiqua, the newlyweds make their home in Columbia, S.C.
A Mohawk High School alumna, the bride graduated in 2005 from Westminster College and in 2009 from Penn State College of Medicine.
She is a doctor performing a residency in pediatric.
Her husband is a Shenango High School alumnus, who earned his degree in 2006 from Youngstown State University.
He is an employee of Ameriprise Financial.
