Rhonda Lynn Davis and Jeffrey David Matthews were married at a 2 p.m. ceremony on June 21, 2008, at Keys to the Kingdom Church. The Rev. Karl Moore officiated.
The bride is a daughter of Beverly Mazur and Clifford Davis Jr., both of New Castle.
Parents of the groom are Jack D. Matthews of Arizona and Cathy A. Chaplin Matthews of Orange County, Calif.
During the ceremony, both mothers were presented with a rose, as well as the groom’s aunt.
The bride wore a champagne gown bordered with lace and pearls. She carried a single lime green rose.
The bride’s daughters, all of New Castle, were her attendants.
Maid of honor was Chelsea Eckman.
Bridesmaid was Haylee Eckman and flower girl was Sara Eckman.
The ring bearer was Austin Matthews, groom’s son, of New Castle.
Serving as best man was Jeff Davis, bride’s brother, of New Castle.
Usher was Brandon Blissmer of New Castle.
The reception was at the Union Township Fire Hall.
The couple make their home on Underwood Street.
Next spring, they will take their honeymoon trip to California.
The bride is a graduate of Union High School.
Her husband graduated La Mirado High School, La Mirado, Calif.
He is also an Army veteran of Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
He is a truck driver and volunteer firefighter.
