Ashlee Nikole Eakin and Robert Thomas Kneram were married at 2 p.m. May 24, 2008, at Cascade Park over the waterfall. The Rev. Dennis Bupp officiated.

Parents of the bride are Timothy L. Eakin of New Castle and the late Sherri A. Miles-Eakin.

The groom’s parents are Penny L. Kneram of New Castle and Thomas D. Kneram Jr. of Eastbrook.

The bride chose a Cinderella dress from Disney’s new princess line. An abundance of ruffles engulfed the gown and train. Her veil was designed by Marilyn Maness, groom’s aunt.

She carried a bouquet of while lilies, roses and orchids wrapped with light pink ribbon.

Matron of honor was Dyanna Eakin, bride’s sister, of New Castle.

Another sister, Nicole Eakin of New Castle, was bridesmaid, along with Jennifer Weir.

Best man was Brett Kirkwood of Mahoningtown.

Groomsmen were Travis Eakin and Scott Gladd, both of New Castle.

Ring bearer, Wyatt Gladd, failed to appear due to shyness.

The reception took place at Cascade of the Falls in Cascade Park.

The bride is a graduate of New Castle High School and Lawrence County Career and Technical Center. She works as a certified nurses aide.

Her husband is a graduate of Laurel High School. He is a laborer at Masterwork Paint.
