Yelina Kim and Scott Louis Orelli

Yelina Kim and Scott Louis Orelli were married at a 2:30 p.m. ceremony Nov. 10, 2007, at Epworth United Methodist Church. Officiating was the Rev. Rex A. Wasser.
The bride is a daughter of Insook Choi of Seoul, South Korea, and the late Sisoo Kim.
Parents of the groom are Janice and Fred Orelli of New Castle.
The bride wore a white strapless satin gown embellished with crystals and lace with matching cathedral length train. Her illusion veil was of cathedral length.
She carried a round bouquet featuring white roses with green hypericum berries wrapped with white ribbon.
Maid of honor was Jiyeon Choi of Seoul, South Korea.
Bridesmaids were Kawshika Wijayananda of Greenville and Heather Collins, groom’s sister, of New Castle.
Flower girls were Logan and Lexi Orelli of Pittsburgh.
Best man was Grant Alexis of Arlington, Va.
Ushers were Nicklaus Paris and Kevin Collins, both of New Castle, Craig Westrick of Pittsburgh and Ryan Orrico of Lancaster, Pa.
Vocalist was Bonnie Humphrey and accompanist was Kathy Moffatt.
The ceremony included two readings. Ernest Orelli read from Kahlil Gibran’s “The Prophet.” And Jiyeon Choi, the maid of honor, read I Corinthians 13 in Korean, the bride’s native language.
The reception was in the lobby of the Scottish Rite Cathedral.
Following a traditional Korean ceremony in May 2007, the couple traveled to Jeju Island, South Korea. This spring, the couple will travel to Seoul, South Korea.
The newlyweds make their home at 2940 State Road, New Castle.
