Lyndsay Marie Malizia and Ryan Wayne Quear were married at a 3:30 p.m. ceremony Nov. 17, 2007, at St. Vitus Church. Officiating was the Rev. Robert Zajdel.
The bride is a daughter of Anthony and Denise Malizia of 511 Edgewood Ave.
The groom is a son of Wayne and Deborah Quear of 631 Eastbrook-Harlansburg Road.
The bride’s white satin, halter-style gown featured a cathedral-length train embellished with lace appliqués and rosettes. A crystal tiara and cathedral-length veil completed her look.
Her bouquet consisted of two dozen white and lavender roses, accented with lavender wax flowers, limonia, and a lavender jeweled butterfly.
Maid of honor was Melissa Houlette of New Castle.
Bridesmaids were Kim Gabriel of Edinburg, Francesca Mastrangelo of New Castle and Alexis Hile of Middletown, Pa.
Miniature bride was Madison Quear, daughter of the bride and groom.
Best man was Michael Quear, brother of the groom, of Fredericksburg, Va.
Ushers were Matt Gabriel of Edinburg, Sean Richman of Pittsburgh and Nicholas Malizia, bride’s brother, of New Castle.
Vocalist was Jim Rosa.
Organist was Sandy DeCarbo.
Presentation of the communion gifts was given by Mary Ann Houlette and Lisa Manzo.
Readings were given by Tami Hile, Charles Houlette and Dom “Skip” Manzo, godfather of the bride.
Flowers on the altar were in memory of the bride and groom’s deceased grandparents, Frances Malizia, Richard W. Houlette, Donald Frediani and Kenneth and Delores Quear.
A reception took place at Shad Hanna’s Banquet Hall.
The couple spent their honeymoon in the Pocono Mountains. They make their home at 438 Woodmere Drive.
The bride is a 2002 graduate of New Castle High School. She is a homemaker.
Her husband is a 1995 graduate of Union High School and attended Youngstown State University. He works for Castle Cheese.
