Michele Renae Million and John Michael Mudrie were married at a 2:30 p.m. ceremony on Aug. 11, 2007, at the Independent Methodist Church. Officiating was the Rev. Frederick Gilbert, pastor.
Parents of the bride are Brenda Million of Butler and James and Dorothy Million of 248 Smithfield St.
The groom is a son of the late John and Olive Mudrie.
The bride wore an A-line, one-shoulder, Maggie Sottero Couture chiffon gown. The dramatic shoulder treatment was jeweled to accent the corset back closure.
She carried a cascading bouquet of pink lilies, bluebird roses, and white gerbera daisies. The bouquet was accented with stephanotis studded with rhinestones.
Matron of honor was Paula Manos of New Castle.
Bridesmaids were Jennifer Mackievich of New Galilee and Linda Anderson of Ellwood City.
Serving as best man was Bart Effinite of New Castle.
Ushers were Geno Davisson and Junior Boyles, both of New Castle.
Accompanist was Ann Long.
During the ceremony, a memorial candle was lighted in honor of the groom’s parents, John and Olive Mudrie, and the bride’s grandparents, James and Angeline Million and Arthur and Olive Emery.
A reception followed at St. George’s Hall.
The couple spent their honeymoon at Iberostar Bavaro Resort, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic.
The newlyweds make their home at 110 Cecil Ave.
The bride is a graduate of Union High School and Shenango Valley School of Business. She is a clerk typist at Youth Development Center.
Her husband is also a graduate of Union High School. He works as a pressman at CCL Container.
