NEW CASTLE —
A South New Castle Borough man was jailed after he allegedly made threats with a gun at his home.
Shenango Township police arrested Roger Weber, 68, of 2123 Moravia St. Ext. on charges of aggravated assault, making terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment in what officers described as a domestic disturbance.
Police were called to Weber’s home about 3:30 p.m. Friday, where they were told he was making threats with a gun.
Police said they were able to get the victim out of the house, then took Weber into custody, with the assistance of New Castle and state police.
No injuries were reported.
According to police, a loaded firearm was found in the living room of the home.
Weber was arraigned by District Judge Jerry Cartwright and placed in the county jail on $5,000 bond.
His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Thursday.
