Truck driver injured in rollover accident

NEW CASTLE — A truck driver was injured Tuesday in an accident that closed a portion of Route 422 in Slippery Rock Township.

Michael J. Barbish Jr., 81, of Harmony was taken by helicopter to a Pittsburgh hospital after his dump truck crashed and spilled a load of stone onto the highway.

According to state police, the accident occurred shortly after 9 a.m. at the intersection of Mount Hope Furnace Road. Officers said Barbish was traveling north on that road when his dump truck went onto the berm and struck an embankment.

The truck rolled into its passenger side, spilling its load.

Members of the Slippery Rock Volunteer Fire Department responded and removed Barbish from his vehicle, police said. He was then flown to Presbyterian Hospital with what police described as moderate to severe injuries.

Police said the investigation into the cause of the accident is continuing.

Are you concerned enough about the Heartbleed bug on the Internet to change all of your social media and website passwords?

Yes. It’s always a good idea to change passwords regularly anyway. I just have so many, I’m not sure where to start.
No. From what I’ve read, companies are still trying to figure out how to fix the flaw. The bad guys will just have access to my NEW passwords, too.
Not sure, but I blame Al Gore. He invented the Internet, right? How’s he going to get us out of this mess?
