NEW CASTLE —
New Castle firefighters were battling a major blaze last night on the city’s East Side.
The fire was at a house in the 1200 block of East Washington Street and it broke out around 10:15 p.m.
Multiple calls were put out for extra firefighters to respond, and crews were using the city’s aerial truck to tackle the flames.
