Two dead in apparent murder-suicide

NEW CASTLE — Two people are dead after an apparent murder-suicide in North Beaver Township.

Police were called to a parking lot near Bessemer Lake at 3:45 p.m. Thursday and discovered the bodies of Ronald Hartman, 54, and Shirley Rivardo, 50, both of New Castle.

A passerby had spotted Hartman’s body lying on the ground and called 911 to alert authorities.

Georgia Gov. Nathan Deal signed “unprecedented” legislation yesterday to expand gun rights in his state. Good idea?

Yes. Expanding the scope of where people can carry guns can help halt violent crimes and make those places safer.
No. Carrying guns into bars and schools is NEVER a good idea. I think it will lead to more violence.
Not sure, but I don’t plan to visit Georgia any time soon.
