Turnpike to stop traffic at Route 18 interchange

NEW CASTLE — The Pennsylvania Turnpike will conduct traffic stoppages at the Beaver Valley Interchange exit ramp leading to Route 18 south Wednesday.

Hours of the stoppages will be between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. State police will be in charge of stopping traffic, in 15-minute intervals, to allow crews to remove a guide rail and install a temporary barrier along the ramp.

Motorists traveling in the area should be prepared for slow-moving traffic during this time. The stoppages should not affect mainline traffic.

This work is in preparation for a bridge replacement that carries the interchange ramp traffic over Route 18 and is part of the future Beaver River Bridge replacement project.

Do you talk to yourself when you're alone?

Yes, but I’m basically just thinking out loud.
No, that would be weird.
I don’t know. Next time I’m alone, I’ll ask.
