NEW CASTLE —
Rocco Ierino Inc. of Ellwood City has been cited by the Pennsylvania Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement.
A citation, issued by the district enforcement office in Erie, states that the business, at 403 Lawrence Ave., sold alcoholic beverages without a license on June 1, noting the temporary authority granted by the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board had expired May 29.
The business also was cited for failing to adhere to the conditions of its agreement with the board, which placed additional restrictions on the license on June 1.
The charges will be taken before an administrative law judge who has the authority to impose penalties ranging from $50 to $1,000 for minor offenses and up to $5,000 for serious offenses. The judge also may suspend or revoke the license based on the severity of the charge.
