Woman charged in school incident

NEW CASTLE — A South Side woman has been charged for allegedly causing a disturbance at the city’s kindergarten.

New Castle police allege that Ebony Laquise Davis, 25, of 109 E. Home St. became unruly, yelled at a police officer and used loud profanity at the Lockley Early Learning Center around 9:20 a.m. Monday. Officers said the outburst came after the school required her to sign a child into the school as being tardy.

Police said they subsequently learned that Davis’ car registration was suspended because of insurance cancellation.

Davis faces one count each of disorderly conduct, driving an unregistered vehicle and driving without required financial responsibility.

She was sent a summons to appear in court.

Have you held or will you hold a garage/yard sale this year?

I have and it was a success! It's a great way to get rid of some junk and make a little extra pocket money.
I have, but it didn't go over so well. Better luck next time?
I haven't yet, but I plan to.
I haven't and I don't plan to. It's not for me.
