NEW CASTLE —
Three vehicles were involved in an accident Tuesday at the intersection of Kings Chapel and Puaski roads in Neshannock Township.
According to police, the crash occurred about 5:10 p.m. and left one person injured.
Police said a truck driven by Julie Daly of Grove City was traveling south on Pulaski Road, when she attempted a left turn onto Kings Chapel Road in front of another vehicle driven by Normal Kline of 207 North St., Edinburg.
The vehicles collided, then the truck was pushed into a car operated by Eric Held of 128 Terance Ave. that had been traveling on Kings Chapel Road.
Police said Kline was injured and taken by ambulance to Jameson Hospital. The truck and Kline’s auto were towed, police said.

Two accused in cutting utility pole wires
Two men are suspected of cutting copper wire from utility poles on the city’s North Hill. New Castle police have charged James Joseph Morris, 44, of 421 Neshannock Ave. Apt. 2., and Timothy Ray Yates, 28, of 2001 Delaware Ave., in connection with the Monday afternoon incident.

Police say a South Side man threatened to shoot housing authority employees after he was evicted from Neshannock Village. New Castle police were called to the housing complex around 2 p.m. Thursday where they arrested Derrick B. Waters Jr., 21, of 318 Phillips St.
