NEW CASTLE —
A 73-year-old Wayne Township man was killed yesterday when a tractor rolled on top of him.
Berislav Fec of 1601 Dutch Ridge Road was pronounced dead at the scene by Lawrence County Deputy Coroner Sam A. Teolis.
Teolis said Fec was operating a Kubota tractor on a hillside and it overturned. Fec was thrown off the machine and it rolled on top of him.
A neighbor who was walking through the area around 11:40 a.m. saw the tractor on its side and found Fec underneath it and called 911.
Teolis said Fec died of blunt force trauma to the chest.
