NEW CASTLE — Three people were shot, one critically, on the city’s North Hill Friday morning.

New Castle police said the incident occurred around 3 a.m. at 315 E. Hillcrest Ave. Officers said those injured are a husband and wife, Shawntelle and Montral Johnson, and Michael Foster.

Police said they are trying to determine what happened at the house.

All three were taken to St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown.

Foster suffered at least one gunshot wound to the neck. He was listed in critical and stable condition, police said.

Shawntelle Johnson suffered a grazing wound to the head and her husband was shot once in the ankle and twice in the arm. They were expected to be released after treatment, police said.

Not sure, but I blame Al Gore. He invented the Internet, right? How’s he going to get us out of this mess?
