Police seek armed Sheetz robber

NEW CASTLE — State police are looking for the man who robbed the Sheetz in Slippery Rock Township at gunpoint.

The man entered the convenience store at the intersection of Routes 422 and 388 around 1 a.m. Thursday, armed with pistol, police said.

He ordered a customer onto the floor and pointed the gun at a clerk behind the counter, demanding money. He remained on the customer’s side of the counter and, after receiving an undetermined amount of cash, ran out, according to police.

The man then left in a car that had been parked on Route 388, police said. A witness provided officers with a description, they added.

Anyone with additional information about the suspect or his car is asked to contact the state police at (724) 598-2211. All calls will be kept confidential.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama for allegedly overstepping his legal authority with the way he's handled Obamacare. Good call?

Yes. Obama's been overstepping his authority since day one in office. It's time he pay the piper.
No. The allegations are ridiculous and the law suit is a waste of time and tax payer money.
I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but the suit seems a little extreme.
