Three charged in assault

NEW CASTLE — Two women and a man are accused of beating a  Neshannock Township man after they broke into his mobile home.

Neshannock police have charged Shannon Raquel Hooks, 42, of 321 E. Garfield Ave., Jonnie Marie Klingensmith, 39, of 727 E. Pearl St., and Albert Scott Tedrow Jr., 24, of 661 Sixth St., West Pittsburg, with burglary, criminal trespass, simple assault terroristic threats and intimidation of witness or victims.

The victim told police that the three went to his Cathcart Drive home about 11:45 a.m. Thursday, pushed open his door and slapped and kicked him and screamed at him not to testify against them in court.

The three were arraigned  Friday before District Judge Scott McGrath, who set their jail bonds at $10,000 for each. Hooks posted bail on Saturday. Klingensmith and Tedrow remain in the Lawrence County jail.

Yes. If it’s a more efficient way to run the jail, I’m all for it.
No. I think there would be too many questions of liability for the county.
