Police: Robbery nets pepperoni roll, pop

NEW CASTLE — Two men reported being robbed of food and cash at gunpoint early Tuesday.

The two told New Castle police they had been walking south on East Washington Street about 12:40 a.m. when one of them was punched in the face by a male as they turned left onto West Street.

A second man pointed a handgun at them and demanded they empty their pockets. They took a soft drink and pepperoni roll from one man and $40 from the other.

Police said they are reviewing surveillance video from a nearby business.

Have you held or will you hold a garage/yard sale this year?

I have and it was a success! It's a great way to get rid of some junk and make a little extra pocket money.
I have, but it didn't go over so well. Better luck next time?
I haven't yet, but I plan to.
I haven't and I don't plan to. It's not for me.
