Body found in landfill still unidentified

MERCER — The autopsy on a white female found Wednesday at Tri-County Industries’ Pine Township landfill was “wrapped up” about 24 hours later, but authorities did not release any additional information about her.

Police estimate the blue-eyed woman was between 16 and 25 and stood about 5 feet 1 inch to 5 feet 3 inches tall. She was of medium build, had pierced ears and “appeared” to have long, brown hair, police said. She was wearing black yoga pants, a black tank top, white ankle socks with green trim and a green bra.

Tri-County employees found the body Wednesday afternoon, but Trooper Dan Kesten of the state police said she could have ended up at the transfer station any time between midnight Tuesday and 3 p.m. Wednesday.

The body could have been picked up from any neighborhood within a wide range of territories that use Tri-County Inc. garbage services, according to Kesten.

Trucks from Clarion to Youngstown and north to Erie dump garbage at the landfill.

Malaysia Airlines Flight 17 fell from the sky in Donetsk, Ukraine, on Thursday, killing all 298 people aboard. Many are speculating that Russian rebels (supported by Vladimir Putin) are responsible for downing the aircraft. What do you think?

Yes. All evidence points that way.
No. Everyone is so quick to point fingers, but there's not enough evidence to support claims of Russian guilt.
I'm not sure. I'll just wait until the investigation is over to make up my mind.
What is up with these Malaysian Airlines planes? I know one airline I won't be flying any time soon...
