Two charged in prostitution case

NEW CASTLE — New Castle police have charged two people allegedly involved with prostitution.

Cynthia Marie Bartlone, 46, of Elmwood Street was charged with prostitution and disorderly conduct.

John J. Moses, 44, of 101 W. Clen-Moore Blvd., was charged with patronizing a prostitute, open lewdness and disorderly conduct.

Police said they observed a slow-moving maroon car and a woman walking on Mill Street about 12:30 a.m. Monday.

Officers said they saw the car pull into an alley. They said they walked down the alley and observed two people in the car engaged in oral sex.
