NEW CASTLE —
A man who said he was beaten up at a West Side block party sought hospital treatment for his injuries.
New Castle police charged Shakeem Jamal Moore, 22, of 348 Halco Drive, in connection with the July 5 incident.
The victim, a 20-year-old Shenango Township man, told police Moore and two others approached him at a party on Bell Avenue about something he had posted on Facebook.
The victim told police one of the men punched him in the face and knocked him down, then all three men punched and kicked him in the face and body several times. He suffered a cut over his right eye, several other facial scratches and a swollen left eye.
