Suspect sought in robbery

NEW CASTLE — A Mahoningtown resident is accused of robbing a man at gunpoint on Park Avenue and stealing $310 from him.

New Castle police charged George Maynard Stevenish, 22, of 211 Montgomery Ave. with robbery, theft, receiving stolen property and simple assault in connection with the alleged attack.

The victim, who is acquainted with Stevenish, told police Stevenish had walked up behind him on Park Avenue around 4 p.m. Saturday and put what felt like a gun to his back and demanded money. The man said Stevenish lowered the gun and hit him in the face after he gave him the cash that was in his pocket.

A warrant was issued Monday for Stevenish’s arrest.

On Wednesday, the House of Representatives voted to authorize Speaker John Boehner to sue President Obama for allegedly overstepping his legal authority with the way he's handled Obamacare. Good call?

Yes. Obama's been overstepping his authority since day one in office. It's time he pay the piper.
No. The allegations are ridiculous and the law suit is a waste of time and tax payer money.
I don't know. I'm not a huge fan of Obama, but the suit seems a little extreme.
