Medical helicopter called to Route 168 crash scene

NEW CASTLE — A medical helicopter was sent to the scene of an accident Monday afternoon in New Beaver.

The accident occurred around 4:15 p.m. near the entrance to Frederick's Mobile Home Park, located close to the Beaver County line.

According to scanner reports, an 11 year-old girl was "not responsive" in one of the vehicles involved in the crash.

A landing site for the helicopter was set up near the Pennsylvania Turnpike where Route 168 crosses.
