No injuries in Slippery Rock fire

NEW CASTLE — A pile of wood ignited near a partly deconstructed barn Monday afternoon in Slippery Rock Township.

No injuries were reported and there were no animals in the barn.

Township firefighters extinguished the blaze in the wood barn frame at 7317 Old Route 422. The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m.
