Man charged with exposing himself

NEW CASTLE — A South Side woman complained to police that her neighbor had exposed himself through a window.

New Castle police charged Patrick Vincent Haswell, 44, of 1037 1/2 Grimes St. in connection with the alleged incident.

The woman told police she had taken her dog into her yard around 9:25 p.m. Monday and Haswell yelled and made obscene gestures at her from his upstairs window. She said he then pulled his privates out of his pants and called her an unsavory name.

She told police his behavior has been an ongoing issue and he argues with a lot of his neighbors.

Police said his house is on their disorderly house list, a compilation of addresses where officers have been called multiple times.

They charged Haswell Thursday with indecent exposure, open lewdness and disorderly conduct.

He was sent a summons to appear in court.

Milwaukee catcher Martin Maldonado has been suspended five games for sucker punching Pittsburgh’s Travis Snider during a bench clearing brawl on Sunday. You OK with that suspension?

Yes. Seems fair.
No. Baseball NEVER gets it right in these situations. Should have been at least 20 games for his sucker punch into a pile of players.
Not sure, but I’d love to see baseball be like hockey and allow two guys to fight for a while before breaking it up. Let’s see how tough Maldonado is then.
